Jack Guarnieri of ShuffleAlley.com reports that The Parker Bohn III Pro Bowler game
has been a big seller over the Holiday Season. It was featured in the FAO Schwarz Catalog for $6000.00 and is a favorite
of young people and a real evergreen game. So many sold that supply of new in carton games has been just about been exhausted.
There were two runs of the game so far, the first 250 were built by Chicago Gaming and the second run of 250 games were contract
manufactured by Stern Pinball.
All support for the game is to come directly through ShuffleAlley.com in Lakewood,
New Jersey where parts, service and technical support are readily available. There has been some confusion about eddy sensors,
computer bios and start button issues but with a phone call to (800) 318-5225 those issues can be easily resolved.
ShuffleAlley.com also advises the use of Sun Glo Tournament Gold Wax ONLY as the play action of the game and earnings are
greatly lessened with use of any other product. That can be purchased from Sun Glo or from ShuffleAlley.com.
Jack
Guarnieri game creator and holder of the game’s patents stated that he’s been in talks with Brunswick Bowling
and two FEC chains who expressed an interest in making a major commitment to the game in their locations. “It’s
a steady piece that earns every week” stated Jack. “Just sprinkle some wax on the game and pay a small amount
of attention to it and the reward is long term earnings.”
In other Parker Bohn III news, Parker captured
his 30th PBA Title this weekend with an impressive run and another weekly appearance on ESPN. Bohn, the PBA Hall of Famer
from Jackson, N.J., earned the $40,000 top prize and an exemption for the 2005-06 season by striking on his first 10 shots
beating Robert Smith, 288-235.
Coming close to a second televised 300 game and striking to start the 10th frame,
Bohn left the 3-9 spare on his next shot. All told, he struck on 20 of 24 frames on the day.
